The St. Catherine Municipal Corporation has sought to assure that its operations continue as normal, following a raid at the council yesterday.

The Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency (MOCA) led the joint police military raids at several locations in St Catherine, Westmoreland and Kingston.

Chairman of the corporation Mayor Norman Scott said as far as he is aware, the corporation has been doing everything above board.

He noted that this is the second time MOCA has launched probe into the operations of the corporation.
