Works Minister says phase 1 of the REACH programme is 82% complete
Works Minister Robert Morgan says the first phase of the Relief Emergency Assistance and Community Help (REACH) programme is 82% complete.
The initiative was launched 3 months ago following the passage of Hurricane Beryl.
Phase 1, which cost $1.5 billion, is focused on cleaning and rehabilitation work in impacted communities.
Mr. Morgan noted that about 60 to 80 tonnes of asphalt was lost due to rain.
