Sterling Gospel Music Awards donates $150K to Lt Stitchie’s medical fund
The Sterling Gospel Music Awards has donated $150,000 to help cover Lt Stitchie’s medical expenses.
During the handover ceremony, Lt Stitchie’s wife, Sophia Laing, expressed that the ordeal their family is facing is “tougher than steel.” In her acceptance speech, she thanked the gospel community and others for their support.
She also provided an update on Lt Stitchie’s recovery.
Last month, Lt Stitchie’s family revealed that the gospel entertainer suffered a brain haemorrhage and will require ongoing medical care.
As of the latest update, 469 donations have raised US$22,530 towards their goal of US$100,000.
