Several roads across the corporate area were flooded today as heavy rains impacted the island.

Among the roadways impacted were Marcus Garvey Drive, the Grants Pen Ford and Bird sucker lane, off Barbican in St. Andrew.

According to the latest update from the police, partial access was restored to Marcus Garvey drive.

The east to west bound lane of the Marcus Garvey was re-opened to vehicular traffic.
