Meeting of creditors and claimants of SSL to determine way forward for the company, set for October 25
A meeting of creditors and claimants of Stocks and Securities Limited (SSL) which will determine the way forward for the company, has been set for October 25.
This is as the embattled company winds down its operations amidst a multi-million dollar fraud investigation that impacted approximately 200 of the entity’s clients.
The meeting also comes, as the company indicates plans to distribute payouts to its clients, valued at USD$30 million.
A statement posted on SSL’s website says the meeting of creditors and claimants will be held at the Summit Hotel (formerly Knutsford Court) and also on a dedicated streaming platform.
It said to attend in person or to join the meeting online, contact must be made with trustee, Caydion Campbell.
Campbell was appointed as trustee of the in-court supervised winding-up of the company in June.
SSL says to be entitled to vote at the meeting, a creditor or claimant, must lodge a proof of claim with the trustee before the meeting.
