Parliament pays tribute to Lady Golding
Members of Parliament this afternoon paid tribute to Lady Patricia Golding – the mother of Opposition Leader Mark Golding.
Lady Golding who was 92 years old, passed away on September 26.
In a written tribute, house speaker Juliet Holness thanked Lady Golding for her dedicated service to Jamaica.
The tribute was read by deputy house speaker, Heroy Clarke.
Meanwhile, Member of Parliament for Northwest Manchester Mikael Phillips noted that he had the pleasure of attending the Hope Valley Experimental School which was founded by Lady Golding and her husband.
