Manchester police launch “Operation Restore” following mass shooting in Mandeville market
An operation aimed at restoring public order was carried out by the Manchester police in the town of Mandeville, this morning.
It follows last Friday’s gun attack which left two people dead, and five others wounded.
The deceased are Nathaniel Bradford, otherwise called ‘Andre’ and 30-year-old practical nurse Melissa Merchant.
Head of the Manchester police, Deputy Superintendent Carey Duncan said under the initiative dubbed “Operation Restore”, police will be clamping down on several areas, as intelligence suggests that there are feuds between communities.
DSP Duncan said events will be restricted for most of the parish for some time.
