The first round of voting for the 2025 GRAMMY Awards begins today. 

From October 4 through Tuesday, October 15, voting members will cast their ballots to determine the nominees across all 94 categories for the 2025 GRAMMYs.

Capleton, who appears to be part of two projects submitted for GRAMMY consideration, made a post via his verified Instagram account announcing the start of the voting period.

Capleton shared that “This Is How We Roll,” a collaboration with him, Buju Banton, and BL Tha Hook Slaya, is featured on Dancehall Diaries Vol 1, which was submitted for consideration in the Best Reggae Album category. He also revealed that the song was submitted for consideration in the Best Global Music Performance category.

Meanwhile, other Dancehall and Reggae albums released during the 2025 Grammy eligibility period which is September 16, 2023 to August 30, 2024, include Spice’s “Mirror 25”, Shenseea’s “Never Gets Late Here”, Etana’s “Nectar of the Gods”, Romain Virgo’s “The Gentle Man”, Bugle’s “Apex”, Govana’s “Legacy”, Dexta Daps’ “Trilogy”, and Masicka’s “Generation of Kings”, among others.

Nominations for the 2025 GRAMMYs will be announced on Friday, November 8, 2024.

The 67^th annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 2, 2025 in Los Angeles.
