Two people are feared dead and several others were wounded after gunmen attacked a group of people at the Mandeville market in Manchester this morning.

The names of the deceased, a man and woman, have not been released.

Reports are that at about 10:15 AM, two gunmen attacked vendors at the market.

An alleged eyewitness said she saw the two men running from the scene with guns.

Lawmen have cordoned off the area at Ballyhooly road across from the market, as they process the scene.
