Hubert Busby got unanimous support from the hierarchy of the JFF
The reappointment of Hubert Busby as Reggae Girlz head coach received overwhelming support from the hierarchy of the Jamaica Football Federation according to Rudolph Speid, Chairman of the JFF Technical Committee.
Busby was on Friday reappointed to take charge of the national women’s programme, in what will be his second stint with the team, having held the position from 2020 to 2021.
He was removed when the JFF requested FIFA to investigate unsavoury media reports originating in Europe, but was subsequently cleared by the world governing body.
Speid, a guest on Irie Fm’s Sports Talk show ‘What’s The Score’ on Monday, was asked by host Robert Williams about the level of support received from the board room as it related to Busby’s appointment.
” It was unanimous, from the Board to the Technical Committee, every level gave him a unanimous support for the job” said Speid.
