Nurses Association President says inadequate resources and poor remuneration continue to impact nurses
Inadequate resources and poor remuneration continue to be the major concerns impacting members of the nursing profession.
This, according to President of the Nurses Association of Jamaica, Dawn Marie Richards.
Speaking with IRIE F-M news, Mrs Richards said a lack of resources in the system continues to be an issue, noting that the association continues to lobby the government for the tools needed to provide care to clients.
She noted that remuneration continues to be a struggle, as nurses seek to remain financially stable in the existing economy.
Mrs Richards said the Nurses Association is also lobbying for improvements in this regard.
