Some JUTC drivers withdraw services after passenger allegedly stabs their colleague
Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) drivers who ply the Portmore to Downtown Kingston route, have withdrawn their services.
This after one of their colleagues was allegedly stabbed by a passenger.
Police say the male passenger requested a stop at an area that is not a designated bus stop.
When the driver refused, the passenger reportedly stabbed him.
The driver is being treated at hospital. His condition is not known at this time.
Meanwhile, commuters are advised to expect delays along the Portmore to Downtown Kingston route as a result of the service withdrawal.
Persons are urged to use alternative transportation methods where possible.
