The St. Andrew Central police say yesterday’s quadruple shooting in Waltham Park is believed to be a reprisal incident.
Head of the Division, Senior Superintendent (SSP) Marlon Nesbeth told IRIE FM news that at around 5:20 PM, four people were on a football field when they were approached by armed men in a vehicle.
The gunmen fired at the four, then drove off.
The wounded persons were taken to hospital.
SSP Nesbeth said the police are following several leads to bring the perpetrators to justice.
