Two police constables are among several people who have been arrested in relation to the shooting death of a man at a popular restaurant in Ocho Rios, St Ann on Saturday.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.

IRIE FM news was informed by a senior police officer that the constables were taken into custody as a probe into the incident takes place.

According to lawmen, an argument developed between a group of men in the vicinity of the restaurant around 3:30 A.M when the unidentified man was shot and wounded.

The police were called to the scene and he was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
