Four arrested and 211 tickets issued during St. Elizabeth traffic operation
Four people were taken into police custody and 211 tickets issued during a traffic operation in St. Elizabeth, yesterday.
Head of the St. Elizabeth Police, Acting Superintendent Coleridge Minto said the operation was carried out in Santa Cruz and Black River.
He said 5 motorcycles and four cars were seized.
Superintendent Minto said three of the seized vehicles had been reported stolen.
Meanwhile, Sub-Officer in Charge of the St. Elizabeth Traffic Department Sergeant Albert Simpson urged motorcyclists to obey road safety rules.
