Real Solid Action team gains temporary traction after JFF Elections Appeals Committee rules in their favour
The JFF election appeals committee has ruled in favour of the Raymond Anderson led RSA team deeming six parish associations inelligible to vote in the JFF voting election.
The election which has been postponed owing to a Supreme Court injunction which extends 28 days will end on February 9.
However the JFF election appeals committee which met with the Raymond Anderson team last Thursday is reported to have handed down its decision late last night ruling against the other 7 items appealed by team Raymond Anderson.
The decision of the Ruel R Gibson committee makes six parish associations Westmoreland, Hanover, St. James, St Elizabeth, Manchester and Trelawny are ineligible to vote as they are not registered bodies.
The six parish Associations are not registered at the companies office of Jamaica
Irie Fm sports however understands that the appeals committee has also noted that the Six Parishes Associations will become eligible to vote if they register with the companies office by the time of the congress.
The issue of the eligibility of incumbent Mike Ricketts was also thrown out by the appeals committee as his matter was ruled as not one of discrimination.
The appeals committee has also overturned the conflict of interest matter regarding the Chairman of the election committee, Christopher Samuda .
