As part of its road safety campaigns, the Transport Operators Development Sustainable Services (TODSS) will be supplying new tyres to operators of public transport vehicles, during a handing out ceremony in Kingston today.

President of TODSS, Egeton Newman said the association is aware of the fact that defective tyres can contribute to accidents, so the provision of new tyres forms part of efforts to prevent accidents. 

Newman pointed out that TODSS’ mission is to facilitate the sustainable development of the public transport sector, through training and logistical support.

He said the goal is to provide the best travel experience to the commuting public, and to ensure the best investment for the sector.
