Councillor for the Lime Hall Division in St. Ann Genevor Gordon Bailey is calling for urgent improvement work to be done on the Lime Hall to St Ann’s Bay Road, especially for the upcoming holiday season. 

Councillor Gordon Bailey said the road, which has been in a bad state for some time, became worse on Thursday when a section collapsed.

She said this is endangering motorists.

The councillor said although the road is owned by the St. Ann Municipal Corporation, it is frequently used by motorists and needs to be urgently addressed by the National Works Agency before it is too late.

She was speaking at the recent meeting of the St. Ann Municipal Corporation.
