Industry players, family, friends and fans sent messages of love, light, and healing energy to Dancehall artist Aidonia following the one year anniversary of the death of his son Khalif Lawrence.

On Sunday (Dec 3), Aidonia via his verified Instagram account, shared a pic of himself and his son which he captioned, “Daddy loves you” followed by the red heart emoji. He continued, “Miss you Papa” followed by a broken heart emoji. He ended the caption with “December 3rd“ and another broken heart emoji.

Khalif Lawrence died on December 3, 2022, following a three-year battle with cancer.

As the birth of his second son looms, Aidonia is expected to take a musical hiatus to focus on family.
