Eighty-nine public transport operators charged this month for overcharging passengers
Some 89 public transport operators have been charged this month for overcharging passengers.
The move to protect passengers and clamp down on rogue operators is being undertaken through the “Operation Transportation Streamline”, which was launched in September this year.
In providing an update at Jamaica House this morning, Transport Minister Daryl Vaz said more operators will be charged, as efforts continue to build out a reliable and safe transport sector.
