General Secretary of the Police Federation, Corporal Arlene McBean says the Federation is going through an unprecedented phase but remains committed to its mandate of tackling issues facing rank-and-file members.

The issues include the longstanding challenge of the nonpayment of overtime monies owed to officers by the Government.

Speaking at the thanksgiving service for the late Constable Justin Martin, Corporal McBean also committed to ensuring that his family receives what is owed to them.

The General Secretary said the Federation will press on, within the confines of the law to address the challenges facing officers.
