Former national under 15 Reggae Girls head coach and senior women’s assistant coach…..Toni Cowan, has joined the coaching staff at South Carolina State University. 

Cowan has been appointed to the role of assistant coach for the number 3 seed Lady Bulldogs who last season made it to the elite 8 of the NCAA competition where they suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of second ranked Duke.

Cowan who also has JFF level 1 and level 2 coaching certificates and an international coaching diploma from the university of Physical Education in Budapest, Hungary, will be part of the coaching staff which is headed by Liz Amanda Brown who was recently promoted to head coach.
