In 2-days, the highly anticipated IRIE FM Music Awards swings into high gear!

Slated to take place on March 1, the IRIE FM Music Awards is a Radio Program awarding the best and most popular elements of our music and culture during the past year (2022).

Nicholas Evans, Chairman of the Awardees committee says preparations are currently underway for music’s biggest night.

There are 25 Categories up for grabs which include the IRIE FM Humanitarian Award, Reggae Ambassador Award, Male and Female DJ of the year, Male and Female Singer of the year, Gospel Artiste of the Year, Social Media Influencer of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Collaboration of the Year.

Dancehall entertainer Valiant tops the list with eight nominations while Popcaan holds firm with 5 nominations.

Spice and Shenseea are up for 4 awards while Dexta Daps, Shaneil Muir, Stalk Ashley, Moyann, and Skeng have three nominations each. Other nominees include Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Ding Dong, Koffee, Masicka, D’Angel, Alkaline, Burna Boy, Jada Kingdom, Shaggy, and Sean Paul among others.
