Temporary set back for Jamaica’s National under 17 footballers
Jamaica’s National under 17 footballers are still in the island after they were scheduled to depart at 6 o’clock this morning for the Concacaf Under 17 Championships in Guatemala.
The young reggae boys who are schedule to face Cuba in their opening group G’ game on Sunday is still in Montego Bay from where they were schedule to travel this morning.
Irie Fm sports was unable to ascertain up to sports time the reason or reasons why the team did not travel.
The young reggae boys are also down to face Costa Rica and Guadeloupe in their other group matches as they seek to qualify for the Fifa Under 17 World Cup in Peru in November and December.
