Power outages increasing in southern and eastern parishes as weather worsens
The Jamaica Public Service JPS says outages are increasing in southern and eastern parishes, as the weather worsens.
Public Relations Manager, Audrey Williams said JPS teams have been successfully addressing small pockets of outages, but ongoing rains and lightning in some areas have given rise to new service interruptions across a number of parishes.
She said work is continuing in several communities, as the company closely monitors service levels.
