Police recover stolen cattle in St. Ann; four men in custody
Four men are now in custody in relation to the theft of 15 heads of cattle in St. Ann last night (September 8).
Reports are that at about 10 this morning, the Alexandria police were informed of the larceny of the cattle, between Alexandria and Cave Valley, which occurred overnight.
A truck, with six of the animals aboard, was intercepted by the police. Officers are conducting a search for the remaining animals.
Superintendent in Charge of Operations for St. Ann, David White said the truck is registered in the name of a local patty company.
He said the owners of the cattle have begun to come forward to identify their livestock.
