Several wanted men and alleged gang members detained in St. Catherine SOE
The St. Catherine police continue to reap success from the recently declared State of Emergency (SOE).
The SOE was declared on Friday (June 17), following a flare-up of violence in sections of the parish.
Superintendent of police attached to the St. Catherine South division, Hopton Nicholson in giving an update, said as at midday yesterday, three wanted men and 3 alleged gang members were arrested.
Meantime, Head of Operations for the St. Catherine North Police Division, Deputy Superintendent Linroy Edwards, is urging residents to cooperate with the security forces.
