48 hour curfew imposed in Spanish Town following shooting incident
A 48 hour curfew has been imposed in sections of Spanish Town, St. Catherine.
The curfew began at 6, Tuesday evening.
It follows a shoot out between alleged gang members in the parish capital on Tuesday, which left 2 persons dead.
During a subsequent police response, a third person was fatally shot.
Commanding officer for the St. Catherine north police division, Senior Superintendent Howard Chambers, is urging law abiding citizens to cooperate with the ground commanders as they work to restore normality.
