Three people who are believed to be linked to several gangs across St. James were arrested during a targeted operation by the Joint Anti-Gang Task Force in Green Pond, in the parish, on Friday morning.

Their names have not been released, pending charges.

Head of operations for the St. James police, Superintendent Eron Samuels told Irie Fm News that several weapons and at least two hundred rounds of assorted ammunition were also seized.

He said the operation is ongoing.
