Woman killed and girl injured in St. Catherine crash

A woman is dead and a child is nursing injuries following a motor vehicle accident on Young Street in St. Catherine yesterday.

She is 54-year-old Janet Wilson of Job Lane, St. Catherine.

Police say about 3:10 p.m. Wilson and a girl were walking along the roadway when they were hit buy a Nissan AD Wagon motor car.

The police were alerted and they were taken to hospital where Wilson was pronounced dead.

The girl has been admitted in serious condition.
