The Student Loan Bureau officially launched its debt reset programme, which will run from December 1 to April 30 next year.

Speaking at a press briefing this morning, SLB’s Executive Director Nickeisha Walsh said this programme will allow SLB customers to clear their arrears.

She said the bureau is offering a 50 per cent waiver on interest arrears,100 per cent waiver on charges and 100 per cent waiver on insurance.

Ms. Walsh said the SLB will apply $100,000 to students’ accounts that are in good standing.

Students can visit the SLB portal to apply for the Debt Reset Programme.
