Search continues for missing Manchester High student, after reports of him being seen between last night and this morning

Several search parties to include the police, the Jamaica Fire Brigade, students and staff of the Manchester High school and relatives continue the search for missing Manchester High student Jayden Smith.

The 12-year-old boy has been missing since last Friday.

Speaking with IRIE FM News this morning Detective Sergeant Althea Hibbert-Lawson said the police received reports of Jayden being seen last evening and this morning in the parish.

When she spoke to our newsroom before news time, Sergeant Hibbert-Lawson noted that they were searching the Grove Road area where Jayden was reportedly seen by his teachers last evening.

She said they are also searching the Decarteret Road area where he was reportedly seen by citizens this morning.
