A toddler died from injuries he sustained after he was reportedly electrocuted at home in Westmoreland yesterday.

The child is 3-year-old Tamani Flemmings of Big Bridge in the parish.

Police say at about 9:00 AM the child was in his yard playing when he became entangled with exposed wires and was electrocuted.

Tamani was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
