Murders down by 14.5 per cent in St. Catherine North Police Division

Murders in the St. Catherine North Police Division are down by 14.5 per cent.

Commanding officer, Superintendent Hopton Nicholson gave Prime Minister Andrew Holness the update recently.

Superintendent Nicholson said all categories of crime are trending downward.

Noting that Spanish Town, which is his hometown, has historically been burdened by crime, the Prime Minister said a rebirth is being witnessed, owing to dedicated efforts and substantial investments in national security.
