Prime Minister Andrew Holness says his administration has done more than any other government to protect the poor.

According to the Prime Minister, the steps taken by his administration to contain inflation, show it has done more to protect fixed income, pensioners, and the poor.

He said those steps have resulted in inflation trending down from up to 12% during the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, the Prime Minister says while the rate of inflation is decreasing, it is not yet tamed.
