2 arrested following cocaine bust in Mandeville, Manchester
Two people are in police custody, following the seizure of 5 pounds of cocaine in Mandeville, Manchester, last evening.
Reports are that at about 7pm, lawmen searched a motor car in which two people were travelling and discovered the cocaine hidden under the driver’s seat.
The drug has an estimated street value of 10.9 million dollars.
Both persons were arrested and the motor car and cocaine were seized.
This is the second cocaine seizure in recent days.
On Thursday, over 8 pounds of cocaine with an estimated street value of 18 million dollars were seized in Ocho Rios, St. Ann.
2 men were charged in relation to that incident.
