Ziggy Marley partners with Boss Mom Builds to gift home to single mother in need

Grammy Award-winning reggae singer, author, and philanthropist Ziggy Marley continues to prove that his impact goes far beyond the stage.

Marley took to social media to share his involvement through his URGE Foundation in a life-changing initiative which is the sponsorship of the fifth home along with the Boss Mom Builds program, which supports single mothers in need.

Partnering with powerhouse advocate Michelle Gordon and her uplifting movement, Boss Mom Builds, Marley expressed joy at being able to help more families build a strong foundation.

Marley shared a video of the recipient of the house expressing her gratitude for the house with the caption “Helping families build a strong foundation at home is one of the best tools for children to succeed in their education”. He continued by writing “Much love to Michelle and the crew on the ground who are making these dreams a reality.”

The project, grounded in grassroots efforts and community empowerment, aligns with the broader mission of Marley’s URGE Foundation, a nonprofit he founded to uplift and invest in the potential of children globally starting at home in Jamaica.

The foundation’s initiatives focus on education, health care, sustainable development, and housing for underserved communities.
