Members of the Sovereign State of Accompong will join entertainer Buju Banton on the Washington leg of his Overcomer Tour later today, August 27.
In a post on social media Chief Richard Currie shared that the group will be performing alongside the Gargamel at the Capital One Area in DC. Chief Currie also posted a video of what appears to be the group at the airport.
Meanwhile several stops on the Overcomer Tour have been rescheduled to 2025. In a post on his socials, Buju shared that due to scheduling conflicts, dates planned for Boston, Philadelphia, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Phoenix, LA and Connecticut are being pushed back to next year.
In the post, Buju noted that he wanted to deliver the highest calibre experience for his fans. He wrote that the new dates will be shared shortly.
The Gargamel kicked off his Overcomer US Tour last Friday August 23 in Fort Lauderdale. The highly anticipated tour features R&B Sensation Fridayy and Grammy Award Winner Gramps Morgan.
Last week, Buju announced the second staging of the Intimate concert series which will see him headlining the January 4, 2025 event alongside his longtime friend Beres Hammond.
