JUTC bus driver rushed to hospital following crash near Ray Town Fishing Village this morning

A Jamaican Urban Transit Company (JUTC) driver had to be rushed to hospital this morning (June 8), after the bus he was driving crashed into a wall, in the vicinity of the Ray Town Fishing Village in Kingston.

 

JUTC Public Relations Officer, Cecil Thoms told IRIE F-M news that the crash occurred while the driver was en route to pick up his colleagues.

He said no passenger was on board at the time of the accident.

This is the second JUTC bus to have been damaged in recent days.

 

Last week, one of the buses caught fire in Bull Bay, St. Andrew.
