Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier  League set to resume next month 

The Wray and Nephew Jamaica  Premier  League is set to resume next month .

The  decision follows  high level strategic discussions between the Jamaica Football Federation  and  Professional  Football  Jamaica  limited  the PFJL.

The  discussions  according  to  the  PFJL in a press release was grounded in a shared commitment to national recovery, community upliftment, and the preservation of football as a unifying cultural force

The  JFF and the PFJL also aligned on the urgent  importance of restarting the league in a manner that reflects unity, solidarity, and national resilience   after the widespread devastation caused by hurricane Melissa.

The  PFJL says that  in the coming days, an updated match schedule and operational details related to the December 7 restart will be unveiled 

The  competition  was  suspended  after  nine  rounds  of  matches  with  Mobay  United at the summit  with 22  points,  four  points  ahead  of  Portmore  United  on  18, with Racing  United  in third  spot  with  15  points, defending  champions  Cavalier 13, Waterhouse  and  Tivoli  on  12  each  round  out  the  top  six
