Who will take home the Grammy for Best Reggae Album?
In just two days, music’s biggest night will come alive in Los Angeles for the 67th annual Grammy Awards.
Vybz Kartel, who earned his first nomination in the Best Reggae Album category for Party with Me is vying for the coveted award. Other nominees are: Shenseea – Never Gets Late Here, Collie Buddz – Take It Easy, The Wailers – Evolution, and Bob Marley: One Love – The Movie Soundtrack.
Producer Di Genius, who boasts an impressive Grammy track record, has added two more nominations to his resume for his work on Shenseea’s Never Gets Late Here and country star Tanner Adell’s project, Too Easy.
Meanwhile, producer Skatta Burrell earned a Grammy nomination for the Coolie Dance Riddim, which was sampled on Kehlani’s After Hours, a contender for Best R&B Song.
The Recording Academy and Music Cares have pledged $1 million through the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort to support music professionals affected by the recent California wildfires. The 67th annual Grammy Awards will take place this Sunday, February 2.
