Westmoreland’s most wanted man, Carlington Godfrey otherwise called “Tommy” was fatally shot by police today.

Godfrey who was wanted in relation to various crimes including rape, murder and robbery was shot and killed during a police operation early this morning.

Acting Commanding Officer for the Westmoreland Police, Deputy Superintendent (DSP) Shaunjaye Mitchell said shortly after 8 A.M., lawmen on operation went to location and allegedly came under a gun fire, from Godfrey.

One police officer was hit.

DSP Mitchell said the lawmen returned fire hitting Godfrey.
