West Indies captain Hayley Matthews is ranked in the top 10 of the latest ICC Women’s One Day International bowling rankings. 

Matthews who picked up only 4 wickets in the recent three nil ODI series loss to Australia in their Caribbean Tour, is now ranked 6th on 644 rating points in the latest standings which is headed by Australian Amelia King. 

The Barbadian spinner -Matthews struggled with the ball in the recent visit of the Aussies, taking 1 for 46 in the first ODI, then 3 for 40 in the second game, before going wicket-less in the final game last Friday. 

The top three is completed by Sophie Eccelstone of England who lies second and Ashley Gardener of Australia in third position. 

Meanwhile. Mathews sits a respectable second in the all rounder’s ODI rankings and 10th in the One Day International player standings.
