Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise donates books to Jamaica Library Service
The Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise has donated thousands of children’s books to the Jamaica Library Service.
Ky-Mani Marley, son of reggae legend Bob Marley, shared via Instagram that the books were donated by cruisers onboard. He expressed his gratitude, noting it was an honor to be selected to hand over the books to the children of Jamaica.
Ky-Mani also shared a short video of himself giving high-fives to a group of children seated in what appears to be a library, while Bob Marley’s 1977 classic hit Three Little Birds played in the background.
The Welcome to Jamrock Reggae Cruise set sail on December 9 from Miami, making stops in Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, and is scheduled to return to Miami today (December 14).
