A wanted man is among two people arrested in a series of operations by the St. Catherine North Police today. 

A firearm and several rounds of ammunition were also seized. 

Head of the St. Catherine North Police Senior Superintendent Hopton Nicholson said the operations began after 8:00 A.M. in areas in and around Spanish Town. 

He said during one of the operations on St. John’s Road, one man was arrested and a firearm seized. 

SSP Nicholson stated that during another operation in the Lime Tree community, a man who was wanted for being a member of a criminal organization was arrested.
