Vybz Kartel, in a new interview, has revealed that he now resides in the United States.

Kartel made the revelation during a sit-down on The Breakfast Club with DJ Envy, Charlamagne, and Jess Hilarious. When asked about his place in Dancehall history, he confidently stated, “Influence is what makes me king of the Dancehall.”

In the same interview, Vybz Kartel was asked about the ongoing ‘King of the Dancehall’ debate. He broke down his definition of the title and emphasized why Dancehall can only have one true king.

The deejay is also set to perform at back-to-back, sold-out shows at the Barclay’s Center in New York this weekend.
