A female student was found dead at the University of the West Indies Mona Campus in St. Andrew today.

She is believed to have committed suicide.

Her name has not been released.

Campus Security Manager retired Assistant Commissioner of Police Marlon Nesbeth confirmed the incident.

He said the institution’s Deputy Principal will share more information at a media briefing today.
