The University of Technology Students’ Union is expected to reconvene with the University’s management today to share students’ feedback on deliberations arising from a meeting over tuition concerns.

The two parties met earlier this week over a proposed tuition increase for the 2024/2025 academic year.

On Wednesday, the University said, the parties were negotiating two options in response to the students’ request, for management to consider a lower increase.

It said the Students’ Union executive had requested time to relay the options being negotiated to the general student body.

Feedback from the students should be shared today, so a final decision can be made.
