UTASA to engage in series of protests over wage concerns
The University of Technology Administrative Staff Association, (UTASA), says it will engage in a series of protests at the institution, starting today, over wage concerns.
In a press release yesterday, UTASA said, the issue is stemming from the government’s compensation review exercise and dates back to April 2022.
President of UTASA Janette Grayson, said among the concerns, is the fact that the union has not been provided with a timeline, on when it will receive the government’s compensation review proposal.
She said the protests will continue until the concerns are addressed.
