Usain Bolt on hand to see Manchester United beat Fullham 3-1 in F.A cup semi finals
Double-sprint world record holder Usain Bolt was on hand at Old Trafford yesterday to witness his beloved Manchester United post a come-from behind 3-1 win over Fulham to cement a place in the F.A cup semi finals.
Interestingly, the greatest sprinter of all time, who holds three world records,
Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring for United from the penalty spot in the 75th minute and added a second in injury time after Marcel Sabitzer had put the home team 2-1 in front on minute 77.
Earlier the Cottagers who ended the game with 9 players…..took the lead in the 50th minute through Aleksander Mitrovic who was later shown a straight red along with Brazilian midfielder William and the team’s manager Marco Silva.
Speaking after the game, Bolt who was a guest on ITV Sport’s post game show revealed his excitement with the new direction of the club under manager Eric Ten Haag
The eight-time Olympic gold medalist also would be making time to watch Reggae Girls captain and striker Khadija ‘bunny’ Shaw who currently plays at Manchester City in the Women’s Super League.
United in the meantime will now play Brighton in an all premier league semi-final at Wembley.
